September 18, 2026: quality remediation
- Removed padded editorial expansions and the mandatory SEO word-count requirement.
- Consolidated overlapping metro/category worksheets into filterable metro directories, with permanent redirects and preserved official-resource links.
- Added a two-to-four-firm comparison tool with source links and a print view.
- Removed internal SEO language and duplicate branding from page titles; added ownership and automation disclosures.
- Disabled live advertising during remediation. New content approval and independent consumer testing remain outstanding.

Review schedule
The maintenance checklist calls for monthly link checks and quarterly firm-fact reviews. These are scheduled responsibilities, not claims that a review has already happened. The latest completed checks and any unresolved issues should be recorded before updating the corresponding source dates.
